Dr. Phil Klein
During his four-year tenure as the vice president of economic and workforce development at West Virginia Northern Community College, Phil Klein worked with area manufacturers, industries, and small businesses to secure more than three million dollars in grants on their behalf. These grants were instrumental in creating in-demand training and workforce programs that addressed critical skill gaps and up-skilled workers in all stages of their employment.
Additionally, he worked with state and regional economic development organizations and played a key role in bringing transformative manufacturers to the area. He built the region’s only paramedic program, created numerous allied health offerings and delivered technical training programs never before offered.
Phil thinks it's time for a new challenge, as he believes there is unlimited potential in the Northern Panhandle, and workforce development and organizational growth are the key to unlocking it. He has the connections to business and industry leaders, training partners, and educational institutions to make an impact on your organization from the moment we partner.
